All great communities have excellent libraries, and all excellent libraries have advocates. In Hillsboro, the most active of these is The Library Foundation of Hillsboro. This organization's primary purpose is to provide financial support to the library for items not able to be funded through the normal city budget process. The Hillsboro Public Library serves as a community gathering place where patrons of all ages and ethnic backgrounds will find educational and entertaining material to enhance their lifestyles. The Foundation is committed to providing the necessary support to ensure this will continue to happen.
