The Library Foundation of Hillsboro endowment donor program for materials has raised substantial funds. The interest earned from investing these funds is used to purchase much needed library resources. You may participate in this program by starting your own personal or family endowment with the Foundation. Consider establishing and endowment in honor or memory of a loved one or to celebrate a special occasion. Businesses and organizations are also encouraged to contribute in this manner. The minimum $1,000 donation may be received over a five-year period.
All donors receive an annual report from the Foundation describing the materials purchased. A book plate with your name listed as the donor is affixed to each item purchased with earnings from your endowment.
This is a lasting legacy to the community, a gift which keeps on giving because only the interest is expended each year.
